TREE REMOVAL IN ESPA 19 & TAGGED TREES

Note the vernal pond in the background. The removal of trees in the capture zone of this pond was evident.

Flies were attracted to the moist stumps of the recently removed trees.

THIS NEXT SECTION FEATURES THE TREES THAT ARE TAGGED.

There are a number of trees of all sizes tagged in this area but I tried to photograph some of the largest as seen below.

The tree above is marked 0121.

I photographed the tree, vultures were gliding overhead. The centre tree is tree 0121.

This tree is marked 9600.

This tree above is marked 0002.

This tree, was located some distance from the trail and it is marked 0113. The lighting makes it tricky to read the number.

This tree is marked 0132.

This is tree 0027.

This tree is 0095.

This is tree 0038,
